Madrid to Murcia for Myeloma

You may have followed our Ben Nevis Challenge in 2015 where a team from GS Group bravely climbed, biked and kayaked in aid of our nominated charities, the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA).

Now, from the 9-11th of June, George and 3 others will be undertaking a new challenge in the form of a 500 km cycle over 3 days, in aid of Myeloma UK:

“In just under 3 weeks time, I will be taking on the Madrid to Murcia challenge in aid of Myeloma UK. This will entail a 500k cycle ride between the two cities over 3 days. In addition to the 30 degree+ heat, there are some challenging climbs and as most of you know at 6ft 4 and 16st I’m not really built for cycling. However at some point in our lives cancer will touch each of us and the more we can do to eradicate this awful disease the world will be a better place. As I have only a few days of fundraising left could I ask you all to dig deep and support this challenge and my fellow nutcases who will be joining with me. Every penny will make a difference.”

This fundraising cycle will assist Myeloma UK, the only organisation in the UK dealing exclusively with myeloma – their ultimate goal is to find a cure.
Donations can be made through the Virgin Money Giving page here.

Thank you to everyone for their generous donations so far.
