We have some fabulous news…

Alastair Marshall, the young athlete sponsored by us here at GS Group, who we have been following closely, was selected to run the 5000m for GB in the Euro U20 Champs in Estonia.

Alastair competed in the 5000m last Friday night and finished 16th in his first European Athletics Championships. Alastair was pleased with how he executed his run, but sadly just didn’t have the legs to follow some of the moves made in the race. It was a great event and experience for Alastair to be part of  as he said it was an “amazing experience to feel part of a team in what tends to be more an individual sport, with a real positive vibe around the hotel.”

Alastair also said the whole event was “a great learning experience in a competition of that standard, one of hopefully many to come.”
