Big-hearted Perth finance group’s 25 years marked with charity bash

GS Group raise a whopping £20k at major charity fundraiser at Crieff Hydro.

Perth’s GS Group celebrated its 25th anniversary in style with a major charity fundraiser. The insurance and financial business, set up in his native Fair City by managing director George Stubbs in 1991, organised a black-tie dinner attended by nearly 300 guests, clients and members of staff, raising more than £20,000 for chosen charities, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance based at Perth Airport and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Glasgow.

George said: “With sponsorship from various insurance companies who joined us to mark the milestone and input from ourselves, every penny raised from tickets sales and an array of superb auction items boosted these two fine charities, which provide an amazing and invaluable service for all manner of people across Scotland.

“It was a fantastic evening and it was humbling to be joined by clients who have been with us on a wonderful journey over the last 25 years – along with others who have come to us more recently.”
